About Telangana: Telangana is a state in India located on the high Deccan Plateau in the south-central part of the Indian peninsula. It is India’s eleventh-largest state and the country’s 12th-most populous. The territory was divided from the northwestern part of Andhra Pradesh on June 2, 2014, and a new state was formed with Hyderabad as its capital. Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Karimnagar, and Ramagundam are among the state’s other important cities. Telangana is bordered on the north by Maharashtra, on the northeast by Chhattisgarh, on the west by Karnataka, and on the east and south by Andhra Pradesh. Telangana’s state is divided into 33 districts as of 2019.

Telangana Education: Telangana boasts a number of higher education institutions as well as a large number of primary and secondary schools. The Department of Higher Education is responsible for all aspects of education in Telangana at all levels. According to a 2019 report, the state has one of the lowest literacy rates in India, at 72.8 percent. [8] Telangana’s schools are run by either the state government or private organisations, including religious institutions. The central government runs some specialised schools, like as the Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. [118] As of 2017, the state had 41,337 schools, with over 70% of these being government schools.

Formative Assessment – Formative Assessment (FA) refers to a wide variety of methods that teachers use to conduct in-process evaluations of student comprehension, learning needs, and academic progress during a lesson, unit, or course.

Summative Assessment – Summative Assessment (SA) Refers to the assessment of participants where the focus is on the outcome of a program. This contrasts with formative assessment, which summarizes the participants’ development at a particular time. Summative assessment is widely taught in Educational Programs in the Andhra Pradesh State.

TS School Instructions for Conducting SA 2 Annual Exams:

Detailed instructions on how to implement the Academic Calendar for the current academic year, as well as directions on how to administer SA II tests from classes I through IX and how to prepare class X pupils, have been issued. In this connection, the annual examination (SA-II) for classes I to IX will be held in all Government, Government-aided, and private recognised schools from 07.04.2020 to 16.04.2020. The following is the timetable for the SA-II examinations.

All DEOs are directed to take the appropriate action on the above and to advise all Head Masters in the state, including private school managements, of the schedule. The District Educational Officers are directed to take all reasonable precautions to ensure that exams are conducted safely and confidentially, and to ensure that examinations are conducted, results are declared, parent meetings are held, and cumulative records are distributed to all children according to the schedule outlined above. The RJDSEs are responsible for monitoring activities in all districts and reporting to the Director of School Education on a district-by-district basis.

  • There will be concept-based questions on any topic.
  • You must grasp the concept and answer by elaborating on it in your own words.
