Eligibility Criteria for Sikkim TET 2018:
Following are the eligibility parameters of STET 2018:
FOR PRIMARY TEACHER:
Education Qualification:
Candidate must pass in Senior Secondary Education or final year of Diploma in Elementary Education or final year of Diploma in Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Aggregate:
- General candidates should have 50% in their qualifying exam.
- Reserved category students should have at least 45% in qualifying exam.
Age Bar:
There is no age limit to appear in this exam.
Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian
FOR GRADUATE TEACHER:
Education Qualification:
Candidate must pass in Senior Secondary Education or final year of D. El. Ed.or final year of B.El.Ed or B. Ed. or B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or equivalent exam from a recognized board.
Aggregate:
- General candidates should have 50% in their qualifying exam.
- Reserved category students should have at least 45% in qualifying exam.
NOTE: Candidates who wish to appear primary as well as graduate tests will have to apply both the papers separately and pay the fee for both the tests.

STET 2018 Certificate Validity:
All candidates who pass the STET will be awarded certificate .The validity of certificate will be till he/she crosses the employability age as per the State Government norms. However, it does not cover the special exemption of higher age given to the temporary in-service employees.
STET 2018 Admit card:
Applicants will get admit card link to their registered email address or can download from official site. Candidates can download the admit cards and bring it to the exam. The admit card includes the details of exam like exam name, exam date and centre of the exam.
STET 2018 Result:
The results will be announced by the conducting authority. Candidates can download their score card from official site. A person who scores 60% or more in TET will be considered TET pass. 5 % relaxation of marks is applicable to SC/ST, Central & State OBC candidates.
