Eligibility Criteria:

Interested Job Aspirants who are ready to apply for OPTCL MT Recruitment 2022 Notification must possess the below-given Eligibility Details.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution or Passing of Section-A&B of IE (India) in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Selection Procedure:

• Selection of candidates for OPTCL MT Recruitment 2022 will be:
  • Gate Score.
  • Personal Interview.
  • Medical Examination.
• Candidates will be qualified in Gate 2022 Examination, the Score will be 90% out of 100 marks.
• Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2022
• Shortlisted candidates will be able to download their interview call letter through the candidate login.
• Candidates shortlisted for the Personal Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter.
• The offer of appointment for selected candidates will be on the basis of merit.
• The final appointment of selected candidates will be medical fit in the Pre-Employment Medical Examination to be conducted as per OPTCL Norms and Standards of Medical Fitness.

Age Limit:

Candidate age should be 21 Years and maximum 32 Years as on 14/10/2022.

Age Relaxation will be as per rules of Government of India for different groups and Categories of OPTCL MT Recruitment 2022.

Stipend:

Candidates selected for OPTCL MT Recruitment 2022 will get pay of Rs.50,000/- PM in Training Period

On Successful completion of Training, the candidate will get pay of Rs.56,100 to Rs.1,77,500 in Level EE-2 as Assistant Manager (Electrical).

Training Period:

Selected candidates have to undergo training for a period of 1(one) year at field units of OPTCL including induction training at Power Training Centre (PTC), Chandaka, Bhubaneswar.

Service Agreement Bond:

The selected candidates will be required to execute a service bond in prescribed format to successfully complete the training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. The amount of the bond is INR 3,00,000/-plus GST as applicable for all category of candidates.

Application Fee:

Candidates should pay the application fee for OPTCL MT Recruitment 2022 through both online/ offline mode and it is non-refundable. The Category wise application fee is as follows:

• Rs.1000/- + 18% GST for Unreserved/ SEBC Category.
• Rs.500/-+ 18% GST for SC/ ST/ PwBD Reserved Category.
• No Fee for OPTCL departmental candidates.
