KCET Eligibility Criteria 2021

Education Qualifications:

BArch Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate at 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam in all the subjects (45% for reserved category)
B.E / B.Tech Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for reserved category)
Farm Science courses mean, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Sericulture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, BSc (Hons) Forestry, BTech Biotechnology, BSc (Hons) Community Science, BTech (Agril. Engg), BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Dairy Technology), BSc (Fisheries), BSc (Hons) Ag. Maco. Candidates should have passed the 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as optional subjects.
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects (40% for reserved category).
BPharma Candidate Must be passed 12th Class PUCwith PCB / PCM with 45% Marks Aggregated in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. (40 % for the reserved category)
ORPCI Approved Institute Diploma in Pharmacy Degree holder securing Minimum 45% Marks. (40% for Reserved Category)
2nd Year BPharma  

Candidates should have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and have secured a minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates)

Dpharma Candidates should be pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
OR
Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
Naturopathy & Yoga Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible for admission to Naturopathy & Yoga courses (40% for reserved category candidates).

KCET 2021 Exam Pattern

The exam will be done through offline OMR sheet. KCET 2021 exam comprises with 4 sections namely Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.  Each correct answer will be awarded by 1 mark per question. There is a time limit for each section i.e. 80 minutes. The exam will be in English and Kannada. No negative marking scheme in this exam.

KCET 2021 Admit Card:

Applicants will get their admit cards in the month of August i.e. before 15 days of the exam date. Candidates can download the admit card by using user id and password while generated on the registration. The admit card will contain exam name, centre and exam time. Candidates must have to carry the admit card while going to the exam.  Without admit card, students will not be allowed to the exam hall.

KCET 2021 Result:

The result of KCET 2021 will be declared in September 2021.  Candidates can find their results in official website only. The university will publish their answer key on the university website. The candidates can file their objections regarding discrepancies and accuracy of the answer key by e-mail to the university.

KCET 2021 Counselling Procedure:

All qualified Candidates have to fill the admission form for admission procedure. The university will publish the list of ‘Qualified’ and ‘Not Qualified’ candidates. The merit list will be declared by the conducting board.

The candidates can fill their choice of Course(s)/ Department(s) in the admission forms only.

The counselling will be conducted on various rounds depending upon the availability of seats. The admission will be offered on the basis of merit list and availability of seats after verification of original documents.
