HPPSC Recruitment 2022:

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission known commonly as HPPSC, is a government agency and topmost constitutional body of Government of Himachal Pradesh constituted on 8 April 1971. It is responsible for conducting Civil Services examinations and Competitive Examinations to select the eligible candidates for various civil services and departmental posts.

The foundation of HPPSC came into existence on 1 November 1966 when the state governor requested President of India to establish a civil service body for the Himachal Pradesh state. It was originally established under the provisions of Act, 318 of Constitution of India which authorized the state government to form state public service commission

Eligibility Criteria:

Interested Job Aspirants who are ready to apply for HPPSC CCE Recruitment 2022 Notification must possess the below-given Eligibility Details.

Educational Qualification:

  • A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Candidates who have passed the final professional M.B.B.S. or any other Medical Examination equivalent thereto, but have not completed their internship by the time of submission of their applications for the HAS etc. examination will be provisionally admitted to the examination provided they submit along with their applications a copy of certificate from the University/ Institutions that they had passed the requisite final professional medical examination.
  • In such cases, the candidates will be required to produce original Degree at the time of their Personality Test or a certificate from the concerned competent authority of the University / Institution that they had completed all requirements (including completion of internship) for the award of degree.

Selection Process:

Selection process for Apprentice Lineman in various Circle Offices of HPPSC CCE Recruitment 2022 will be:

  • Preliminary Examination.
  • Written Examination.
  • Personality Test.

Preliminary Examination:

  • This preliminary examination will consist of two objective type papers (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks.
  • The paper-1 will be General studies.
  • The paper-2 will be Aptitude Test.
  • The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates are declared for admission to the Main Examination.
  • The duration of Examinations will be 2 hours each.
  • Minimum Qualifying marks will be fixed 33% for Preliminary examination.
  • There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.
  • One third of the marks will be deducted as penalty.
  • The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be about 20 times the total approximate number of vacancies to be filled in the year through this examination.

Written Examination:

  • The main examination shall include compulsory subjects and one optional subject. Before this main examination a preliminary objective type examination based on multiple choice questions is to be conducted
  • The candidate shall specify in his / her application form the optional subject he / she desires to take. He / She may intimate any change of his / her intention to the Secretary of the Commission not later than the last date prescribed for the payment of the examination fee. A candidate shall answer the Optional Paper in English or in Hindi as per his / her option.
  • No candidate shall be considered to have qualified the written examination unless he / she obtains atleast 40% marks in compulsory papers of Hindi and English and 45% marks in the aggregate (excluding compulsory papers of Hindi & English).

Personality test/ Interview (150 marks):

The total number of candidates to be called for interview / personality test on the basis of written examination shall not exceed three (3) times the number of the vacancies notified for recruitment through this examination.

Provided that in case there is a tie between or amongst the candidates on account of having obtained equal minimum qualifying marks on the basis of written examination, all such candidates obtaining equal minimum marks shall be called for interview / personality test.

  • The marks obtained by the candidates in the main examination (written part as well as interview/personality test) shall determine their final ranking.
  • Candidates will be allotted various services/posts keeping in view their ranks in the examination and the preference expressed by them for the various services and posts.

Age Limit:

Candidates age should be minimum 21 years to maximum 35 years as on 01/01/2022.

Age relaxation is applicable as per rules of Government of India for different groups and Categories.

Pay scale:

Selected candidates will get pay for

  • Administrative Services: 15,600-39,100+ (GP 5400)
  • Tehsildar: 10,300-34,800+ (GP 5000)
  • Block Development Officer: 10,300-34,800+ (GP 5000)
  • Treasury Officer: 10,300-34,800+ (GP 5000)

Application Fee:

Candidates who are attend for the Preliminary Exam, Written Exam and interview are pay the application fee of

  • 400/- for general category and candidates of other sate
  • 300/- for SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS categories.
