Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT):
Candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline with B.Ed from a recognized University/ Institute & aggregate of minimum 50% of marks.
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT):
Candidates must complete Post Graduation in the concerned discipline with B.Ed from a recognized Institute/ University & aggregate of minimum 50% of marks.
Primary Teachers (PRT):
Candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline with D.El.Ed/ B.Ed from a recognized University/ Institute & aggregate of minimum 50% of marks.

Selection Process
Selection of Candidates for the posts of TGT, PGT, PRT will be done as per following stages- Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Examination followed by an interview.
AWES TGT/PGT Examination Pattern
- Subjects: The question paper will be divided into two parts:
- Part A: General Awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology, Inclusive education, IT
- Part B: Subject related questions
- Maximum Marks – 90 Marks for each part.
- Time Duration – 3 hours

- Subjects: General Awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, Educational Concepts and Methodology, Inclusive education, IT
- Maximum Marks – 90 Marks
- Time Duration – 1 hour and 30 minutes
