A new update has been released by AP Government regarding SA2 examinations. AP SA2 examinations are tentatively scheduled to be held from 18th April 2023 to 25th April 2023. 
Andhra Pradesh state government has announced the schedule for SA2/ Summative Assessment 2 exams. Summative Assessment II examination (SA2 Exams) will start in all Andhra Pradesh Schools from 18th April 2023 to 21st April 2023 for Primary Classes, 18th April 2023 to 25th April 2023 for Upper Classes tentatively. Andhra Pradesh Summative Assessment 2 (SA 2) – Science (Physics & Biology) Exam Instructions:

Andhra Pradesh Summative Assessment-II, Science (Physics & Biology) (Part-A & B). Science Subject has Maximum Marks is 80 for 6th, 7th & 8th Classes, 40 Marks for 9th Class and Science (Physics & Biology) Exam Duration time is 2 hours 45 minutes. It is divided into two Parts(Part-A & Part B).

Part-A: It Contains 60 Marks for 6th, 7th & 8th Classes, 30 Marks for 9th Class (Three Sections I, II, III)
Part-B: It Contains 20 Marks for 6th, 7th & 8th Classes, 10 Marks for 9th Class (One Section IV-Multiple Choice)

Part-A Instructions (60 Marks for 6th, 7th & 8th Classes, 30 Marks for 9th Class):

• The question paper comprises Three Sections I, II, and III.
• All questions are compulsory.
• There is no overall choice. However, there is an internal choice to the questions under Section – III.

Part-B Instructions (20 Marks for 6th, 7th & 8th Classes, 10 Marks for 9th Class):

• Each question carries equal marks.
• Each question has 4 options. Write the capital letters indicating the answer in the given bracket.
• Marks are not awarded for overwriting answers.

Science (Physics & Biology) Exam Instructions:

• In the time duration of 2 hrs 30 min for writing answers. 15 minutes is exclusively allotted to read and understand the question paper.
• Every student should thoroughly examine the question paper before proceeding.
• To take the exam, each student must carry their hall ticket.
• Part-A must be answered in a separate answer sheet.
• Students can take along the Part-A Question Paper with them.
• Part-B (Bit Paper) should be tied to the answer sheet and handover to the Invigilator.
