All the District Educational Officers in Andhra Pradesh are informed that as per reference cited above SA-I examinations to be conducted for class VI, VII and X in descriptive type and classes VIII and IX in OMR enabled objective type examinations. Class VI, VII and X question papers printed and supplied to all schools by the DCEB Secretaries in the concerned districts. Class VIII and IX objective type question papers and OMR sheets print and supply by Director, Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh.

About Andhra Pradesh (AP) SCERT:
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Andhra Pradesh, was established on 27-07-1967, amalgamating the following institutions.
1. The State Institute of Education.
2. The State Bureau of Educational and Vocational Guidance
3. The State Science Education Unit.
4. The State Evaluation Unit.

Andhra Pradesh Education Board:

The AP State Commissionerate Of School Education will conduct the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Class Summative Assessment (SA) and Formative Assessment Examinations in the months of September and February to May each year. The Department of School Education is the largest of the 200 departments in the state, publishing the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Class SA & FA Examination Time Table at the State Official Website and District wise DEO Website. The Department of Education focuses on primary and secondary education and organises teacher training.

Formative Assessment – FA refers to a wide variety of methods that teachers use to conduct in-process evaluations of student comprehension, learning needs, and academic progress during a lesson, unit, or course.

Summative Assessment – SA Refers to the assessment of participants where the focus is on the outcome of a program. This contrasts with formative assessment, which summarizes the participants’ development at a particular time. Summative assessment is widely taught in Educational Programs in the Andhra Pradesh State.

All Classes Exam Instructions:

• In the time duration of 2 hrs 45 min. 15 minutes is exclusively allotted to read and understand the question paper.
• Every student should thoroughly examine the question paper before proceeding.
• To take the exam, each student must carry their hall ticket.

Preparation for the AP/ TS SA1 Exam

• There will be concept-based questions on any topic.
• You must grasp the concept and answer by elaborating on it in your own words.
• The questions are now based on the competency observation. Tables, charts, graphs, and diagrams, among other things, will be used to answer questions.
• To answer the questions, you must describe, evaluate, simplify, and add essential information from the newspaper. You will be able to answer multiple-choice questions, fill in the blanks, and any other question from a given unit with ease if you prepare in the manner suggested above.
• You must divide your time according to your level of interest in the topics; you must cover all subjects at least three times per day. You must complete your revision before the examinations.
